Solar Water Pump Pond

Oxygenator or pump?

I just moved into a house that has a small (about 40 gallons) pool. I wanted to put fish in it. I have everything except the water pump. I've been looking and I found many heads solar source (around $ 30) that are fairly cheap and then I found a solar oxygenator $ 100. that could help the fish? running water or simply oxygen?

To be honest, they are more or less the same. For a small pond all you need is something to stir the water surface. carbon dioxide / oxygen exchange occurs only at the surface therefore, a small source that stirs the surface would work, or a small air pump that causes the bubbles. Both are fine.
