Solar Water Pump Psi

Why is my pool pump pressure so high?

My pool pump pressure seems too high. The pressure gauge on the filter indicates about 22 psi and 28 psi normally when running the site. I have a sand filter of 4.9 square meters. The pressure does not change by more than one psi after washing. On the side of pressure pump moves water to the filter, then a salt cell Duoclear Zodiac (with integrated filter of minerals), then the control valve solar, then two statements of the pool (40 feet) of more than 2 inches of PE tubing. A friend of mine has a similar system and the pressure seems to be about half of what is mine. I have found that the meter does not stick and goes all the way to zero when the system is off. Any Suggestions?

It seems that your new washing job. Drops so little because it was not necessary washing. Your site seems to be within reasonable limits, so that it All that remains is your Zodiac salt cell. Bypass to see if that fixes the problem. Probably so.
